Adobe Pubblica Un Aggiornamento D’Emergenza Per Flash

Anche per Adobe è tempo di ricorrere ai ripari rilasciando una patch d’emergenza per tutti gli utenti Windows, Macintosh e Linux. Infatti, negli ultimi giorni è stata scoperta una falla che ha permesso di attaccare anche aziende molto importanti a livello mondiale. Andiamo a vedere in dettaglio.

Java E Flash: Tempo Di Aggiornamenti

Molto spesso si è parlato dei gravi problemi presenti su Java e di come Oracle stia cercando di sistemare tutte le falle che vengono scoperte di giorno in giorno. Fatto sta che tutti i problemi presenti su Java hanno fatto riflettere la maggior parte dei programmatori ed anche le aziende, che hanno deciso di utilizzare strumenti alternativi per realizzare pagine web e software. Anche Flash, negli ultimi anni, sta lentamente decrescendo, infatti molti siti web, tra cui anche YouTube, stanno migrando verso HTML5. Ovviamente molti utenti utilizzano quotidianamente Flash ed anche Adobe continua ad aggiornare il proprio software e non a caso, nelle ultime ore ha rilasciato un aggiornamento per Flash definito “urgente”.

Queste patches vanno a risolvere alcune falle attraverso le quali sono stati effettuati attacchi anche ad aziende che operano  nel settore aerospaziale.

Adobe also made a separate announcement that an upcoming version of Flash Player will be able to determine whether a file is being launched within an Office version prior to 2010 which does not include the sandbox protection present in Office 2010. Users will be prompted with a warning and must choose whether to execute the file.

La principale falla permetteva di aprire un file di Word che conteneva, all’interno, un file Flash con codice modificato che veniva condiviso con gli utenti grazie ad un sistema di e-mail phishing. Ovviamente, FireEye e AlienVault, aziende che hanno scoperto questa falla hanno immediatamente comunicato ad Adobe, la quale ha rilasciato, in poche ore, alcune patch dedicate  a Windows, Linux, Android, Macintosh, Google Chrome ed infine Internet Explorer. Vi consigliamo quindi, di aggiornare il vostro software Flash per non subire la stessa tipologia di attacchi.

Adobe recommends users update their product installations to the latest versions:

• Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.146 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh should update to Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.149.
• Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.261 and earlier versions for Linux should update to Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.262.
• Flash Player installed with Google Chrome will automatically be updated to the latest Google Chrome version, which will include Adobe Flash Player 11.5.31.139 for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
• Flash Player installed with Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 8 will automatically be updated to the latest version of Internet Explorer 10, which will include Adobe Flash Player 11.3.379.14 for Windows.
• Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.36 and earlier versions on Android 4.x devices should update to Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.37.
• Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.1.111.31 and earlier versions for Android 3.x and earlier versions should update to Flash Player 11.1.111.32.
